LG is in the process of unveiling its next flagship, the LG G8, at an event this evening ahead of MWC 2019 in Barcelona.

It is also revealing its first 5G handset in the shape of the LG V50 ThinQ at the LG Premiere event.

Here then are details of its Mobile World Congress press conference and how to keep up with the announcements online.

When is the MWC 2019 LG Premiere press conference?

LG's event is being held now, on Sunday 24 February in Barcelona.

Start times for the event (for different locations) are below:

  • UK: 6.30pm GMT
  • Central Europe (including Spain): 7.30pm
  • East Coast US: 1.30pm EST
  • West Coast US: 10.30pm PST

Can I watch it online and what is being launched?

Unfortunately, although we were previously told otherwise, LG isn't hosting a livestream of its event online.

You might want to check out LG's YouTube channel and the LG Mobile Facebook page for updates but we've got all the news and first impressions of both phones on Pocket-lint anyway.
