It looks like Vivo will have something new to show us at MWC 2019 later this month. The Chinese electronics manufacturer is teasing a Vivo 15 Pro smartphone, and has revealed it will feature a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera.

This phone will be the company's second device with an unusual camera. At MWC 2018, we saw a concept phone Vivo had, called The Apex. Then, four months later, it unveiled the Vivo NEX S, a top-end device that also has a pop-up camera and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. When we reviewed it, we said it gave innovative glimpses into the future technologies likely coming to other phones.

Now, Vivo is doing just that: Announcing a second handset with high-end, far-out features like an elevated camera. The company's new phone is set to be officially announced on 20 February, just ahead of the annual Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona. Little else is known about the Vivo 15 Pro, but we do know its pop-up camera will be better than the 8-megapixel sensor in the Vivo NEX S.

Vivo has also confirmed the V15 Pro will use an under-display fingerprint scanner. No price has been announced yet, but we'll likely learn that in a few weeks. The company is also expected to preview a new Apex smartphone. This one will be an all-glass device with no ports.
