Euro 2020 reaches a (hopefully thrilling) conclusion on Sunday night with the final which we now know will be Italy taking on England at Wembley Stadium in London.

Watching the Euro 2020 final on TV or online

In the UK, the UEFA Euro 2020 Final will be shown on both BBC One and ITV. The two networks have shared the fixtures out in the previous rounds but they both show the final.

The big game will be live on ITV and the ITV Hub from 6.30pm BST or BBC One and the BBC iPlayer from 7pm. ITV is also planning a preview show at 10.55pm on Saturday.

We suggest you try and watch it via a standard Freeview, Freesat, Sky or Virgin TV signal because online demand is set to be huge and as we have seen in previous fixtures, the demand on streaming services means there's often a significant delay.

In the US, the final is available on ESPN. This is a list of the TV rights holders in other countries for Euro 2020.

ITV

ITV's Euro 2020 coverage has been led by Mark Pougatch and Seema Jaswal with ITV seemingly having entered into a loan agreement with Sky Sports since there are some familiar names from Sky's Premier League coverage - Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Graeme Souness. Also on the team is Ian Wright, Ashley Cole, Eni Aluko, Robert Earnshaw, Patrick Vieira, Emma Hayes, Nigel de Jong, John Collins, Joe Ledley, Nadia Nadim, Scott Brown and Andros Townsend.

Gary Lineker, Gabby Logan, Eilidh Barbour and Mark Chapman have been leading the BBC coverage with pundits including Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas and Jurgen Klinsmann.

Interestingly, some recent stats compiled by BT Sport's Innvoate 21 competition suggested that half (49%) of 2,000 fans that were polled think football is utilising technology well, but they hate the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), voting it the least favourite tech innovation.

Interestingly, 360° camera views (26%) and spider/drone cameras (26%) are the most popular recent innovations. We'll see both of those during Euro 2020.

These are followed by live streaming sports on the go via mobile (22%) and the introduction of 4K and HDR picture quality (21%).

Radio and podcasts

Live coverage of the UEFA Euro 2020 Final will be available on Radio 5 Live. BBC Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily podcast, the ITV Football Show podcast and The Guardian's Football Weekly have all been uploading new episodes after each game so expect that to be the case for the final.

Watching Euro 2020 abroad

If you happen to be away for the final, your best bet is probably finding a local bar. You might be able to get around the iPlayer and ITV Player walls with a VPN but as we mentioned earlier you could be watching with a bit of a delay. Alternatively, this is a list of the TV rights holders in other countries for Euro 2020.

Go to their websites and you might find a stream player service all of their own which you can access while on their home soil or of course you can always find it on TV yourself, perhaps in your hotel. Do make sure to use a local SIM if you're thinking about viewing over cellular, of course unless you have a good allocation of roaming data.
