If you’re one of those people that like to share you movies straight away, then what better way to do that say Sony than have a camcorder that comes with a built in projector.
Doing what Nikon did for still images for the video fan, the new HDR-PJ30VE and HDR-PJ10E Handycam camcorders come with a built-in projector that offers the “ultimate playback experience” say Sony.
The end result is basically a projector built into the 3-inch LCD panel allowing video and images to be projected at up to 60-inches onto walls, ceilings, or other flat surfaces you happen to find.
Stereo speakers with Clear Phase technology and S-Master digital amplifier bring the noise so your subjects can hear what you’ve got to say rather than just imagine they are in a silent movie.
The HDR-PJ30VE with 32GB of flash memory, and HDR-PJ10E with 16GB of flash memory, will be available in March 2011.
Sony also introduced the enthusiast-level HDR-CX700VE, as well as, entry-level HD camcorder options in both hard drive (HDR-XR160E) and flash memory (HDR-CX130E) formats. The HDR-XR160E features a 160GB hard drive for up to 66 hours of HD video (LP mode), and the HDR-CX130E allows for customisable capacity with the purchase of a memory card.
The HDR-CX700VE and HDR-CX360VE will be available in March 2011.
And for those who don’t give a monkeys about HD, Sony has refreshed its Standard Definition line-up with the 4GB DCR-SX45E. The DCR-SX45E will be available in February in blue, black and silver.
