For the person who has every gadget under the sun, Firebox has released three Digital Photo Frames that could be described as standalone, glorified digital media players.
The frames come in three sizes, and feature a range of memory card slots so that you can save your images to a card, and then display them in the frame.
Images can be viewed via an automatic slideshow with various transitions and adjustable screen times for each image. The frames also display video clips and play audio.
Each frame is bundled with a remote control so you can select on the fly which image you’d like to see displayed. They support photographs with up to 12MP of resolution.
The 5.6-inch model retails for around £100, with a screen resolution of 960 x 234, while the 10.4-inch frame costs £200. The 8-inch version is priced between them, and is the only one to come with an alternative silver frame in addition to the supplied wooden frame. Both the larger models sport resolution of 480 x 640.
