Over at the CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show in Pacifico Yokohama in Japan, Sony is getting busy showing off an incredibly cool concept camera.

The see-through SLT device is based on a yet-to-be released midrange camera (that should hit the shops later this year).

And it's not just the chassis that's transparent, the Alpha branded camera will also use Sony's translucent mirror tech, that you might have come across on the SLT-A33 or SLT-A55 ranges. The sensor on the new model will receive a bit of an upgrade though - it will be packing a newly developed Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor as well as a fast continuous autofocus feature.

No release details have been confirmed yet - but if you do fancy taking a butchers, and you're in the Yokohama area, C+ runs until 12 February.
