Samsung is planning to add a mini version of the Samsung NX to its mirrorless camera line, if a leak from NXrumors is to be believed.

The site claims to have got its hands on specifications and a press shot for the much smaller NX camera. So small that it's said it will ship at 1.4-inches thick when it lands in approximately one month.

Don't think size is a trade-off for features, however. The NX mini is said to have a 20-megapixel sensor, 9mm and  9-27mm bundled lenses, built-in flash, 22fps continuous shooting, ISO 160-12800 and a 3-inch tilt display to view and capture images.

We first heard rumours of the NX mini in early January, when a patent filing appeared at the US patent office. Samsung looks to be extending its strategy of mini smartphones over to cameras. If that is the case we'd hope the NX price tag of £1,400 gets cut in half too.
