Samsung is calling its new MultiView MV800 camera innovative, and this may well be the case, however it's also a little bonkers as it offers up a 180-degree flip-style, MultiView Touch display.

Well bonkers may be being harsh, but fun is certainly the big selling point with the MultiView as the camera contains a variety of features which Samsung hopes will bring out your creativity.

The Samsung MultiView MV800 camera conjures up a 16.1-megapixel sensor, along with a 5x optical zoom lens - which sounds pretty decent for its size - and 26mm wide-angle lens for capturing larger gatherings. The way it's all packaged into the slim design, and its HD video capture, should also mean that it becomes a decent family/friend photo work-horse.

As mentioned, the main feature of this camera is the flip-out screen. The screen tilts up and down so you can frame every shot, and view back your images from any perspective - this means low-angle shots and self-shots are all possible and, more importantly, easy to frame.

Other features include Pose Function, for guidance on framing shots; and Live Panorama, which will help you capture those wide sweeping, eh... panoramas.

There's also some light-hearted software on board called Magic Frame which has a picture-in-picture function on 12 fun background templates -  you can also customise your own.
