Olympus has launched its latest DSLR offering in the four thirds system in the guise of the E-500. The new model promises 8 megapixels, a shot preview function to provide easy viewing of images before they are saved onto the memory card, and a choice of either full manual control or a choice of 21 pre-defined scene modes.
