Olympus has announced an update to its mju-mini range. The new model increases the resolution to 5 megapixels and adds the letter "s" to the end of the name.

Like its predecessor the camera will be available in four colours; Blue, Black, Champagne Gold and Pink and be weatherproof.

Available from April 2005, the Olympus µ(mju:)-mini Digital S will offer 14 scene programmes, have a 1.8in LCT display and come with 16MB xD-Picture Card, rechargeable lithium-ion battery (Li-30B) and charger, USB/AV cable and Olympus Master 1.1 software come as standard and will cost £259.99
