Nikon has annouced a new photographic project in partnership with international sport for development charity, Right To Play.
The project will see leading sportsmen and women capturing their sporting experiences on camera in a bid to support the charity.
Athletes including the UK’s number one tennis player, Andy Murray, Olympic Gold medallist Tim Brabants, Britain’s best skier Chemmy Alcott, and London Wasps' Dan Leo have been recording their experiences at major sporting events over the past few months.
The idea behind the images is firstly to offer an exclusive "behind the scenes" access to the rituals and routines of these athletes, but secondly, and most importantly, they will raise the profile of the charity via an exhibition to be held in November.
Between 4th – 11th November 2008, the images will be on show to the public, and will then be auctioned off to raise money for the charity. Prints will also be available to purchase from the Right to Play website.
