Nikon is set to launch an upgraded S-Series made up of the Coolpix S630, S620, S230 and S220, all of which are described as being designed with "style, speed and simplicity" in mind.
The S630 boasts 12 megapixels, a 7x optical zoom Nikkor lens, vibration reduction and a Sure Grip for "comfortable finger fit".
The S630 also benefits from the new Blink Proof feature, which combines Smile mode and Blink Warning into one, taking two sequential shots when the subject smiles, and saving the one in which the subject’s eyes are open.
Other features include Scene Auto mode, which automatically adjusts the settings to suit the scene, a Sports Continuous Mode with up to 10 fps and a Quick Retouch function. It'll be available in Black or Ruby Red.
The S620 is described as being "built for speed" with a start up time of 0.7 seconds. It features 12.2 megapixels, a 4x zoom Nikkor lens covering wide-angle 28mm and a 2.7-inch, wide-viewing angle LCD monitor.
It also boasts up to ISO 6400, four anti-blur technologies, new Blink Proof and Quick Retouch features, Subject Tracking AF and Scene Auto Selector. It'll be available in Bright Silver, Calm Black, Noble Purple and Precious Pink.
The S230 and S220 are the two most affordable cameras in the range. They both are capable of 10-megapixel photos with 3x zoom Nikkor lenses, Electronic Vibration Reduction, a high sensitivity range up to ISO 2000 and Motion Detection.
The S230 is slightly more feature heavy, with a 3-inch touchscreen (and touch pen) and advanced functions such as Blink Proof, Quick Retouch, Scene Auto Selector and Scene Mode with 17 different modes to choose from.
However, while the S220 is down half an inch on the screen to a 2.5-inch LCD to view your pictures on, and also down one on scene modes to 16, it is just 18mm thick and around 100g making it pretty pocket-friendly.
Both cameras have metallic bodies and come in a range of colours varying from Soft Silver, Warm Silver, Aqua Green, Gloss Red, Night Blue, Cobalt Blue and Magenta to Black.
The S-Series come with lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and chargers, as well as the Coolpix software suite.
The whole range will be available from 20 February and will cost as follows:
