Having being offered the legendary Trafalgar Square in London, the Lomographic Society will be showing a snapshot portrait of the world in the form of a gigantic, over dimensional and absolutely exclusive LomoWorldWall with over 100,000 images shot by people from all over the planet.

This exhibition is to be on display in the open air, on Trafalgar Square from September 17 to 23. The seventh Lomography World Congress is to be held at the same time in London.

During the Lomography World Congress London 2007, participants will be offered to take part in a wide pallet of community events and workshops as well as the opportunity to have their weeks work on display on the growing part of the LomoWorldWall that is to be officially presented to the world, finished, on September 22nd.

The congress programme features a wide range of interactive Lomographic activities. Special Lomography Workshops will provide insight into the hottest Lomography expertise and the chance to experiment beyond the borders with the crème de la crème of Lomographers, while collaborating in the continuous growth of the Lomographic world image.

The congress will have a number of serious lectures, speeches and interactive discussion forums on the hottest topics on and off the issues of Lomography, allowing all participants to share their ideas on the future of Lomography.
