In addition to the F40fd, Fujifilm has also released the FinePix A610 and the A800 to its entry-level series.

Like the F40fd, both cameras feature dual memory card slots for xD and SD cards, to make storage more flexible.

In addition, they both features Super CCD HR sensors and Real Photo Processors, to ensure that images are sharp and have greater detail.

The A-series cameras are designed to be easy to use, with an intuitive button layout and straightforward access menus.

The A800 features 8.3MP, sensitivity up to ISO 800, and a 3x optical zoom, while the A610, a step down, features 6.1MP and sensitivity up to ISO 400.

In addition, both cameras boast the Intelligent Flash system, multiple scene modes, including a new Baby mode, a large 2.5-inch LCD at the back, and are powered by two AA-size batteries.

Pricing will be announced closer to their February launch date.
