Google has stretched the upgrades for Picasa and Picasa Web Albums first released only for English speakers in the States, to all the 38 languages it currently supports.
On the PC side, the upgrade saw a brand-new version of Picasa with plenty of new tools including web sync, movie editing, and photo-retouching capabilities.
On the web, "name tags" are a newly added feature that help you organise your photos based on who is in each of your pictures.
There are also other new additions such as the photo collage feature and clustering technology that automatically finds similar faces across your photo collection making tagging easier.
However with the worldwide launch of the upgrades, there have also been a few more changes made across Picasa Web Albums. Automatic comment translation is one of them, which will mean you can understand the comments left for your photos from people around the world. Others include improved sharing and better video playback.
Head over to the Picasa Web Albums or download Picasa 3.1 to check out the changes for yourself.
