General Imaging are to introduce two new GE cameras at Photokina this year.
The E1055W and the A1030 will be showcased alongside its current range of eight other compacts.
The E1055W features 10.1 megapixel resolution, a 3-inch high resolution LCD screen and aspheric all-glass lens, the E1055W offers everything you need for the perfect image. It also boasts a 28mm wide angle lens, combined with 5x optical zoom and 4.5x digital zoom.
Other features inside the camera's slim design include blink and smile detection, in-camera panoramic stitching for extra long photos, image stabilisation and of course, movie capture.
The second camera to be announced, the A1030, has a similar 10 megapixel resolution, but is smaller than its newly announced sibling with a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
Featuring 3x optical zoom and 4.5x digital zoom, there are 14 difference scene modes to suit different circumstances. Its other advanced features are similar to the E1055W with face detection, blink and smile detection, image stabilisation, in-camera panoramic stitching, MPEG4 movie with sound and red-eye removal.
As in keeping with other cameras in GE's ‘A’ range, the A1030 is powered by AA batteries.
Both cameras can be seen at Photokina this week and will be available in black, silver and red. Release dates and prices are yet to be announced.
