NTI is launching a new software package which it claims makes the process of burning Blu-ray data, audio, photos and video onto CD and DVD discs simpler.
Media Maker 8 is designed for Windows PC users, and offers all of the features of NTI’s CD & DVD-Maker software as well as updates including a new interface.
NTI Media Maker includes a Video Converter to convert videos for playback on an iPod, PSP, Zune and other portable video players.
With Video TS split, the software can be used to create DVDs from the video collection stored on the user’s hard drive on one or more DVDs "without losing any image quality".
Media Maker also includes NTI Photo Maker which enables users to import, edit and share their digital photos and slideshows; NTI Ripper for ripping and archiving music; and NTI Digital Jack for playback of music collections.
In addition to the Audio Editor for personalising MP3, WMA, WAV and OGG files, Media Maker includes NTI Tagger, which is an ID3 Tag Editor for organising music files by song name, artist, year, album, etc.
Media Maker supports Multi-Burning so multiple drives can be used to create CDs and DVDs at the same time.
Once a task has been set up, users can take advantage of a new Computer Turn Off, Hibernate, Standby, or Log Off feature that will automatically turn off the PC when the task is completed, adds NTI.
NTI Media Maker 8 can be used with Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems and is available for $79.99.
