A new gadget expected to be launched at MacExpo in San Francisco next week that will allow iPod users to transfer digital photos directly from an SD memory card or a Memory Stick to an iPod without computer or software.

According to reports on iLounge.com the new accessory from Sakar international called iAlbum will connect to your iPod via the Dock Connector port and works with with fifth-generation iPods and color-screen fourth-generation iPods.

The iAlbum will be available in black and white later this month for $90 in the US.

Belkin has long since made a media disk reader for the iPod, however saves images and files to the disk storage area on the MP3 player rather than allowing you to view images there and then.
