US company Liquid Image has invented a product that combines a snorkel mask and a 5-megapixel camera and camcorder, so that you can capture your diving trips for posterity.

It comes with 16MB of flash memory, which won't last you very long, but luckily it'll let you slot an SD card in for considerably more recording time. The default memory will give you 29 images at full resolution, or 53 seconds of video.

There's an LCD display so you can see how many pictures are left, as well as a USB connector for downloading your sea-life snaps to your PC. It's powered by two AAA batteries, and is rated for depths down to 5 metres. There's optional LED headlamp accessories, too.

Hammacher Schlemmer is selling it for $100, which translates to just over £60 at current exchange rates. Be aware that shipping costs will add a considerable chunk to the price too, if you're getting it sent to the UK.
