TerraTec has launched a new mobile TV and video editing box called the Cinergy 400 USB. The new model, which is the size of a cigarette packet connects to a PC via a USB2.0 cable and has been geared towards laptop users

The Cinergy 400 USB offers the ability to record a live television signal directly from an antenna or broadband cable while video signals from devices such as VHS recorders, DVD players or video cameras are easily patched in via the Composite or S-VHS port.

The Cinergy 400 USB supports virtually all standard video codecs (for example, DivX) as well as offering a timeshifting function for recording television. The unit is also bundled with a remote control for the uber lazy.

The Cinergy 400 USB will be available in April for £99.99p inc VAT.
