Asda is selling what it claims to be Britain's cheapest digital camera. At £14, it certainly sounds like a bargain, but we doubt you'll want to go on holiday with one... Unless you're a kiddie, that is.

The cameras on offer are from a Disney range of digital snappers for kids. One comes adorned with Cars 2 graphics, the other is part of the Disney Princesses line-up. And both are available for the "cheapest price to be found anyway in the UK".

Each camera features a VGA 640 x 480 resolution and 8MB of internal memory, that can store up to 319 photos. They can also be used as webcams, connecting via USB, and a user CD is included that's compatible with PCs running Windows 2000, NT, XP, Vista or Windows 7.

Hayley Whittaker, the camera accessories buyer for the retailer, quipped: "This is the perfect starter camera for any future David Bailey. At this price they’re sure to get snapped up quickly."

Both versions of the camera are available at
