Pocket-lint loves a bit of extreme sports. It'll never turn down a game of tiddlywinks, even if the heating's turned up a bit too much. And has even been known to play FIFA 11 on the Xbox 360 with the lights off.

However, there's a whole other type of extreme sports fan, who likes nothing better than to throw themselves down mountains, with or without pieces of fencing strapped to their feet. And, for them, Chilli Tech has come up with a budget way of filming every knuckle whitening second; the Action Cam 2.

Designed to be strapped around a helmet, fixed in a car or onto a bike, the Action Cam 2 is a metal-finished digital video camera with a 3-megapixel sensor, 2.5-hour battery life, built-in microphone (12-foot range), and a resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA). It also shoots at 25 frames per second.

A 2GB SD card is included, which should be good for around 60 minutes of video, and the whole kit and caboodle comes in at £49.99.

Currently, the Action Cam 2 is only available online from Amazon.co.uk and Chilli-tech.com itself, so check them out if you're the sort of person who will happily throw yourself out of a perfectly good plane.
