Twitter has rolled out it's new, Facebook-like, Twitter profile for all users around the world, letting them opt for a bigger profile picture on their Twitter homepage.

The new feature, launches alongside other features like the ability to pin your favourite tweet to the top of your page, follows testing to a small audience for the last couple of months. 

Users keen to get the new look simply have to visit their Twitter page and opt to be included when asked. Those who don't automatically get the option can visit Twitter (link) to request it be turned on instantly.

Once enabled, you will be able to upload a larger full width image from your desktop to add more creativity to your page. If you don't have a picture suitable, Twitter will let you choose from a dozen or so one's it has created instead. 

Other features of the new-look profile pages include Best Tweets where Twitter how highlights tweets that have received more engagement will appear larger, so your best content is easy to find and "Filtered Tweets" whereby you can now choose which timeline to view when checking out other profiles such as tweets, tweets with photos/videos, or tweets and replies.
