After a couple of months of beta testing, Twitter has confirmed it is rolling out the new Twitter profiles for all users on 12 December.
Users will now be able to "enhance" their Twitter page to make it look prettier (read look like Facebook) with a header photo.
"By uploading a header photo on twitter.com or our mobile apps on iPhone, iPad or Android, you can make your profile more uniquely yours," says Twitter on the new feature. "We’ve seen a lot of cool takes on these new profiles – including shots from Mars, silly themes, and brands and celebrities expressing themselves in clever ways."
Twitter warns that while nothing major will happen if you don't think about being creative, your new page where the header picture should be will just have a boring grey box instead.
