Don't bother waiting around for Fabio Capello to announce his official 23-man squad for the World Cup, just get yourself onto Twitter and find out who has been dropped already.
Various football hacks and other "in the know" types such as The Daily Express' Matt Law and The News of the World's Neil Ashton are breaking the news quicker than, err, well quicker than Theo Walcott can run.
Speaking of little Theo, it appears as if the ability to run very fast isn't enough for Don Fabio. Walcott's out according to Twitter. As are Adam Johnson, Leighton Baines, Darren "@DBTheTruth" Bent, Scott Parker, Michael Dawson and Tom Huddlestone, according to numerous tweets at least.
The FA has tweeted:
The FA has also now tweeted to say the official 23 will be announced at 4pm, which is an hour later than planned and, laughably, its website has also gone down under the strain of footie fans across the nation seeking official clarification.
It's been described as "a frankly shambolic and unacceptable way for England's World Cup campaign to begin" which to us sounds like the typical over the top whining the mainstream press normally adopts for the World Cup.
So the names of the squad rejects have been leaked. Big deal. It's not as if Fabio's starting XI has been tweeted for England's opponents to see. Well, not yet anyway.
UPDATE: The squad has been officially announced on the thefa.com website
