Social networking site MySpace has announced two deals to benefit users of the service.
The first is a big tie-up with VoIP company Skype that will embed Skype buttons into MySpace profile pages making it easier for friends on the site to call each other.
The Skype functionality will be added to MySpace's instant messenging feature and will not require a software download.
The service, due to begin next month, will mean that MySpace will become the world's largest voice-connected online community.
The other deal announced, with Sony BMG Music, licenses audio and videos to be streamed on the site.
Sony BMG will put their artist's content on MySpace and users will be able to add artist content to their own profile pages for streaming.
