Nokia has launched a follow up to JobsLens with a new app called Internships Lens.

Using augmented reality, the app hopes to score the 54 per cent of recent college grads an internship to help jump-start their career. Nokia has partnered with to access 75,000 internships, entry-level, and part-time jobs from roughly 40,000 companies through the app.

The Internships Lens app, exclusive to Nokia's Lumia line, shows you open positions with the help of social network connections from Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. It will show you people you've connected with who may be able to hire you for the job. You'll also receive commute time to get to the workplace, news about the employer and more.

Resumes are found within Internships Lens, letting you create and store a copy of your resume, as well as save the details about positions that interest you.

Where the augmented reality comes into play is Nokia's LiveSight Technology from HERE Maps to show job and internship opportunities with a visual overlay of the openings shown against a camera view of the real world around you. Walking down a block in New York City? Nokia will show which buildings might house a potential internship.

Similarly, if you find yourself past the internship level, Nokia's JobLens offers similar functionality for finding full-time positions.
