New Microsoft retail logo one for square fans

Microsoft has filed a trademark for a new logo it plans to spread across the world with its retail stores.
Designed on the theme of the Windows flag, the new square logo will feature the familiar four colours; red, green, blue and yellow and be used on retail stores to let people know they are about to walk into a Microsoft venue.
The logo has been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office states that the logo "consists of four squares arranged in a rectangular grid.
The logo is to be used for " retail store services and online retail services featuring computers, computer hardware, software, computer games, computer peripherals, portable music players and accessories, personal digital assistants, cell phones and accessories, video game consoles and accessories, webcams, books, clothing, back packs, messenger bags, computer bags and novelty items", says the trademark application.
It's not clear how the logo will be used on the store front, however it's already being used on the hoarding at the company's two new locations in Arizona and Seattle.
