Microsoft is said to be using "guerilla tactics" in its marketing attempts to boost Vista after Apple's recent bashing of the brand.
Microsoft is apparently placing its PC "kiosks", complete with staffers, outside Apple stores, as this image from AppleInsider reader Tom shows.
"It's a ... booth where you can record your own I'm a PC video", Tom reports. "This is outside the Apple Store, Bullring, Birmingham, England."
The videos referred to are part of Microsoft's new campaign that sees the company searching for "real" PC users to appear in their new "I'm a PC" adverts.
Users are being asked to record their own short videos or clips to showcase "what kind of PC they are and helping Microsoft tell the story of what it really means to be a PC user".
