Google has announced that it will be integrating its Keyhole digital mapping service into its online Google Maps service so you can now get aerial satellite views of any map the service offers.

While Google promise that most of the maps it offers will have satellite detail, it isn't promising at every zoom level, however it will just default to the next zoom up.

In a quick go of the service, which is only available current for America we must admit its pretty awe inspiring zooming in to street level where possible.

The service also allows you to search within an area or neighborhood for certain things like pizza delivery joints or free wifi hotspots using the Google Local search facility.
