It looks Google Play might be about to start giving away games, apps, music and more to celebrate its second birthday.

The Google Play store in Australia, which is ahead of the rest of the world in time zones, has already got the sale under way. The UK and US should follow shortly.

Currently deals include FIFA 14 for free, Theme Park for free, Disaster Movie for 99 Australian cents and many more deals. It's likely these will vary depending on the region. Here's hoping more is on offer in the US and UK.

The UK Google Play currently has a birthday section with Katy Perry's latest album on sale for 99p. But the full link, using last year's birthday deal URL is currently dead. Keep an eye on Google Play in the next 24 hours to spot any deals that may appear.
