Shortly after its reveal, Facebook has announced the devices that will support Facebook Home when it launches 12 April.

The HTC One, HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Samsung Galaxy Note II will have the ability to grab the socially injected launcher.

Facebook has detailed that users with the supported devices will be able to grab Facebook Home from Google Play. It will be installed like an app, but will simply act as a launcher.

Noticeably absent from the list of supported devices is the Nexus 4. That's not to say savvy developers won't add unsupported devices down the line, thanks to a bit of code trickery.

The biggest feature Facebook Home brings to Android is a revamp to the lock and home screen. Now when you wake your handset up from sleep, you will see a floating images and digestible information from your News Feed. Facebook is planning monthly updates to its Home launcher, with increased handset compatibility each month, as well.

Will you be installing Facebook Home?
