Anything Google can do, Facebook can do better. Or bigger, rather. That's the message coming out of FB HQ as it responds to Google+'s move into the social gaming arena with some gaming improvements of its own.

The biggest change, literally, is the extra screen real estate that Facebook games will be allowed to make use of, including full screen action for titles such as CityVille, Zoo World, Monster World, and Mystery Manor.

There is also a new games ticker, which uses your chat side-panel for all those interesting (read: annoying) games updates from your pals. And, if you really are keen to test yourself against your buddies, you can simply click their game info link and get playing the game yourself.

Finally, Facebook has added the ability to bookmark your favourite apps or games so you can easily access them from within your News Feed.

The changes are rolling out now, so expect them to land on your profile pages soon.
