Just 6 days after Apple latest operating system went on sale the company has released the first update via its automatic update service.

The update, which is just 4.8MB fixes issues with Login and Keychain problems. According to Apple some users were experiencing problems logging in if they had a password eight characters or more created in Apple 10.1.

The system also fixes connection problems to some 802.11b/g wireless networks and changing the password of a FileVault-protected account.

The news comes on the back of an announcement from Apple that it has so far sold over 2 million copies of the new OS.

You can download the update via Apple's website or by the Software Update tool in Mac OSX10.5.
