Just like the battery recall news, Apple has launched its third patch in as many days.
The latest is a 22MB patch for PowerPC users includes general operating system fixes for its operating system; 10.4.8.
The update, which is recommended for all users offers specific fixes for connecting to wireless networks using the EAP-FAST protocol, Apple USB modem reliability and using OpenType fonts in Microsoft Word.
It also offers fixes for compatibility with 3rd party USB hubs, scanner performance, RAW camera support, printing documents with Asian language names, performance of the Translation widget, broadband network performance, and finally a series of security updates.
The download is available either from Apple's website or via automatic update.
