Adobe has announced that it's opening sign-ups for public beta testing of the Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR 2.0 applications for Android. If you want to be the first person you know to get access on your handset, then you'll need to register your details.

Adobe's Lee Brimelow said, in a blog post: "We just started the private betas and we are really looking forward to getting these technologies into your hands as soon as possible. There are going to be so many interesting things that you will be able to do on Android and there are also going to be many new skills that (developers) will need to learn, especially if you are new to mobile design".

There's two different sign-up pages for Flash Player 10.1 and for Adobe AIR 2.0, so if you want access to both, you need to fill both out. While there's no specific dates being listed for when you'll get access yet, if Adobe's taking sign-ups then it can't be far away.
