Zeemote has announced that the Zeemote software development kit for BlackBerry smartphones will soon be available.
The kit will allow developers to create mobile games for the BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl, that are compatible with Zeemote's JS1 wireless controller.
The new Zeemote SDK for BlackBerry builds on the already successful Zeemote Ready developer programme, and will include a set of standards, simple testing procedures and support that will make it easier for developers to make games compatible with the JS1 Controller.
Jim Adams, vice president of worldwide marketing, sales and business development for Zeemote, said: "By adding RIM's cutting-edge BlackBerry smartphones to the list of handsets that already work with the JS1 Controller, we are able to bring the Zeemote experience to even more people".
"The JS1 Controller is truly game-changing, allowing customers to play mobile games like never before, and in the process creating countless new opportunities for manufacturers, developers and operators."
The Zeemote JS1 Controller is already available in Europe, and features a thumbstick as well as four assignable trigger buttons to help you play better on your mobile phone. Connecting via Bluetooth, and with real analogue controls, it's so far been popular among the mobile gaming crowd.
