Government survey suggests that internet users should take a test on how to use the Internet safely.
According to the survey, which questioned over 2000 people, over half thought that there be an “Internet Safety Test” – much like the driving test.
The test would be taken by web users in an attempt to ensure they are aware of the risks and of their personal responsibility to stay safe.
Furthermore over three-quarters of those surveyed (78%) felt that there should be lessons in schools to help young people understand the risks and know how to stay safe on the internet.
The call for an internet test comes after growing concerns that one in 10 of internet users in the UK are affected by online fraud every year.
