Tchibo offers a low-priced, full-spec GPS satnav
Tchibo, retailers of all sorts of useful and random products, has added a bargain-priced GPS satnav to its offerings.
It costs £169 from 5 July, and includes all the features you would expect on a GPS device.
The 3.5-inch LCD is a touchscreen, and includes a night-mode for clear viewing in dim conditions.
It comes loaded with UK and Ireland maps on a 256MB memory card, plans routes automatically by postcode, and saves favourite addresses for multiple journeys.
You can select if you want to go via the fastest or shortest route, and make immediate changes to the route to take into account traffic conditions.
For your money you get the device, a bundled 256MB memory card, navigation and synchronisation software, a USB cable, car cradle, a 12V adaptor for the car and a mains power adaptor.
