My daughter may only be a couple of days old, but already I am thinking about getting a "man" bag to carry around all the extra bits that I am now expected to carry.

However one company is trying to stop the embrassement of what effectively is a handbag by creating the DadGear Diaper Vest.

This wearable diaper bag is supposedly the hottest innovation in parenting gear since the diaper bag itself.

Looking like a new age poachers jacket, the company has strategically placed pockets for all of the baby-care essentials that a diaper bag would hold.

Features include: quick-access wipes pocket with access from the outside or the inside of the vest, two form fitting bottle pockets two spacious internal pockets for diapers or larger items and two external pockets for anything from keys to your hands in cool weather.

In addition, the company has even added that poachers pocket at the back of the vest, but rather than suggest you use it for storing dead rabbits has fitted it with a slim design changing pad specifically manufactured to be virtually invisible when stored in the pocket.

The DadGear Diaper Vest is available in several colours so you don't have to go for the rather disturbing orange pictured and will set you back $81.

The company does do international shipping, but you have to email them first rather than simply ordering via their online shop.
