Yahoo has announced the launch of a personal search facility to its search engine. The beta release of My Web from Yahoo! Search will add save, recall and share functions to the searches users do on the service.

In turn My Web will enable users to create their own personal online archive by saving their favourite pages, search results, and search history to My Web. In addition, users can share their information with friends and colleagues via integrated tools such as email, instant messenger, and personal networking provided by Yahoo!'s new Yahoo! 360° tool.

“My Web is the next step in our vision of integrating search, personal search and community by providing users an easy way to have their own personal web search experience that incorporates the best of the Web and what matters most to them.” said Salim Mitha, Director, Yahoo! Search, UK & Ireland.
