Last year TalkTalk took on Blinkbox, offloading the video streaming service from Tesco where it previously resided. In the immediate term, TalkTalk left Blinkbox as it was, but from today, it's started to change.
Blinkbox.com has now been renamed TalkTalk TV Store to fit in with the branding of its new owners. The website domain is staying put for now, but TalkTalk has confirmed that it will be moving over to a new domain sometime soon.
Elsewhere the Blinkbox apps will be updated to TalkTalk TV Player and that's already happening on mobile apps, such as on Android, pictured above.
TalkTalk TV is already a name that the company uses as an umbrella term for its TV services offered as subscription packages alongside broadband and telephone services.
As it stands at the moment, what was Blinkbox remains the same, and existing customers can sign-in and access content exactly as you could before. Exactly how this will segue into TalkTalk's existing TV services still remains to be seen.
