NORAD gets competition as Google’s Santa Tracker, now live, uses Google Maps, Google Glass, and an app

NORAD (North American Aerospace Defence Command) takes time off from tracking missiles and points its gadgets at Santa every Christmas, allowing kids to track his movements.
This year Google has got in on the action with its own Santa Tracker which uses Google Maps and even comes as an app.

If you haven’t already played the highly addictive Santa Tracker game from Google, check it out here. The Santa Tracker went online at the start of the month but only now, as Santa pushes the sledge out of the door, can we start to track him all over the world.

The Santa Tracker from Google works across Android devices, of course, and even Google Glass for those lucky few. For them his movements appear as a notification inside Glass, keeping your eye on him constantly.
