The latest Pebble for iOS app update is a big one: It brings support for iOS 7 notifications.

With this type of support, you can now receive notifications from apps such as Calendar, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Flickr, Dropbox, WhatsApp, Flipboard and more. Pebble also uses Bluetooth LE for notifications. That means battery life won't disappear as soon as your wearable starts getting a flurry of pings.

Apple has approved the update and this new functionality, and you can get it by downloading the Pebble app directly from the App Store. As for Android users, Pebble has said that iOS is the focus at the moment, but an Android a similar update might be in development.
