Samsung's Galaxy Gear was supposed to be a response to Apple's iWatch, although presumably Samsung would argue it has been thinking about this for a while. But whatever the provinanance of it, as a product, we're starting to see its value. Sure, at £300 it costs more than a mid-range phone, or most tablets, but it's still got some cool features that make it worth considering. For one, the built in camera is pretty cool, and the features like activity tracking have some real potential. The only thing missing at the moment is access to email, Tweets and the like on the watch itself, but we assume those features will come with time.
