- It is currently niche, certainly, and won't break into the mainstream for as long as viewing your results presents a problem. But once we all have 3DTVs in our lounge, you'll remember the W1 as the innovative camera it is

- Verdict
- Fairly priced, jack-of-all-trades super zoom. Taken individually its features don’t overly impress, but the undemanding user may well find it’s all the camera they ever need

- No optical viewfinder, Detail loss at highest ISO 2000 settings from noise reduction processing No manual control (manual mode is actually a simple Program AE mode).
- Verdict
- The FinePix F40fd is responsive and the face detection AF works a treat to boot

- Fuji’s S100fs marks the replacement for the S9600 and is a significant step-up in terms of specification and features not least of which is the all-encompassing 28-400mm optical zoom. But this is a camera not without problems
