As well as announcing two new Stream radios that will be available for Christmas, Roberts has offered a sneak peak at a new model due next year.

The COLOURstream internet radio will offer a colour touchscreen that claims to give easy control over all functions of the sound system, including DAB/FM and Wi-Fi radio, as well as an iPod dock.

Boasting an acoustically tuned cabinet with a high gloss piano black finish, there's some appealing retro about this new model - we will keep you posted on a launch.

Roberts has announced new internet radios into its range that will go on sale in the UK in time for the Christmas present buying frenzy.

The Wi-Fi range sees the addition of the new Last.fm-enabled Stream 83i Wi-Fi/DAB/FM RDS digital stereo radio offering access to over 10,000 internet radio stations from around the world as well as the ability to stream a personal music collection.

Priced at ?150, with a high gloss piano black finish, features include USB playback, 15 presets, multiple alarms, sleep and snooze timers and a three-way speaker system including a bass woofer housed in an acoustically tuned wooden cabinet.

There's also the new StreamTime Wi-Fi/FM RDS clock radio, specifically designed for the bedside cabinet that offers ten presets, dual alarms for weekday and weekend programming, Listen Again and the option to stream music from a PC. It goes on sale for ?119.99.

Roberts has announced the new Sports DAB II. The DAB/FM digital personal radio is angled as "perfect for when you are on the move".

Said to be lightweight, compact and easy to use, the radio offers a full screen or rolling text display and gets a rechargable battery as well as an AC adaptor.

As well as for use with headphones, the Sports DAB II boasts a built-in loudspeaker and offers key lock and auto shut off functionality.

In a black finish with blue backlit display, the Roberts Sports DAB II retails for ?79.99.

Roberts has launched a new DAB/FM radio that offers CD playback and gets an iPod dock. The Sound 43 is also notable for being available in three "racy" colours - Ferrari red, Lamborghini yellow and Porsche white.

With a high gloss finish, the all-in-one system offers touch controls, an electric blue display, boasts 20 station presets, alarm clock, and comes complete with a remote control.

Boasting an acoustically tuned wooden cabinet with a 6 position equaliser and separate base and treble, Roberts claims "superb sound" for the new device, which goes on sale for ?230.

Roberts has announced the launch of the ZoomBox with the seemingly unique feature of a zoom display, "so you can zoom right into the text on the screen for easier navigation".

Presumably aimed at the older generation that might appreciate such eye-friendly functionality, it's a portable DAB and FM radio, as well as CD player.

However, with what Roberts calls a "futuristic and lightweight" design, the ZoomBox also offers an SD card slot for playback of MP3 and WMA music files stored to such a format.

Specs include 40 station presets, a headphone socket and mains or battery operation. It goes on sale for ?100.
