Complete with aeroplane spoon with three heads, the LED landing lights on the runway bib light up as the pilot flies the food towards the mouth.

The high-tech version of the sticky yellow Post-It note, the new Digital Video Memo from Firebox offers a 21st century way to leave a note to your significant other, offspring, housemates or colleagues.

The tiny device (it measures just 5.6 x 5.5 x 1.1cm) has a magnetic back so is fridge or filing-cabinet friendly and can record a 30-second video message.

Charged up by USB and boasting a 1.5-inch OLED display, the gizmo has an LED light that flashes to alert that there's a message recorded and ready to go which will play at the press of a button.

Firebox has announced it is offering a new novelty kitchen appliance in the form of a peanut butter maker.

However, unless you chug the good stuff down on a daily basis, we think it's highly likely that this kitchen gadget will sit languishing in the back of a cupboard for the large majority of its life.

But, if you are a big fan of the nut-themed spread, this is clearly the gadget for you and even caters to both fans of the smooth offering as well as those that inexplicably prefer the crunchy, bitty, horrid stuff. We're impartial, obviously.

The real magic comes in with the fact that all this machine needs to create yummtious butter of peanut is peanuts and that's it.

Stick your nuts in the top, flip the switch and soon warm, gooey beanut putter will be oozing out at you ready to be spread liberally on white, buttered bread and washed down with a glass of cold milk.

This making method also means you can experiment with other nut butters, although we'd steer clear of coconuts, doughnuts and Grape Nuts.

Due to be unveiled at January's CES show, Innovative Converged Devices, or ICD, has announced the launch of a range of "kitchen-friendly" Android tablets.

The "Vega" line is described as "low priced, full featured high definition entertainment and information devices that feature 3G connectivity, a Tegra processor, full streaming media, and a touch interface".

The 7-inch, 11-inch and 15-inch devices are due to be available in the first half of 2010 and boast Android 2.0, a 1.3MP webcam, microSD slot, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, an accelerometer, a light sensor and magnetic docking.

It's likely that we'll see the Vega as badged goods from other manufacturers or even operators rather than sold direct - we will keep you posted.

Did you just squeal with delight? You're evidently a Lego enthusiast. The Danish company has put together a set of kitchen scales featuring the head of one its iconic "minifigs".

Measuring 17cm (7 inches) tall, with a 15cm (6 inches) wide tray, you'll be able to fill it up with a whole pile of bricks, should you want to measure the weight of your lego collection.

It's part of a whole Lego kitchen range, which also includes cookie cutters, salt and pepper shakers, cutlery and even a cake mould. What would you bake?

Designer Lulu Guinness has teamed up with Comet to create a limited edition toaster "to add a touch of glamour to one of the most quintessentially British gadgets".

Featuring Lulu's iconic "lip" designs, with red and cream lips on a black background, the toaster is said to be inspired by 1950's glamour and the classic shade of red lipstick seen in old Hollywood movies.

The limited edition Lulu Guinness for Comet toaster will be available to buy at www.comet.co.uk/luluguinnesstoaster from 5 November and in selected Comet stores from 13 November, priced at ?34.99.

One man's urge for a computer in his kitchen has pushed him into gutting an Asus Eee netbook and fitting it in his kitchen cupboards.

No doubt baulking at the price of the LG or Samsung "connected" fridges that feature built in computers, a gadget fiend from Germany has modded an Eee PC 701 into not only being touchscreen, but also featuring a TV tuner as well.

The end result, which the video guides you to, shows that he can then watch and control his computer while mincing around the kitchen.

As for the crazy music soundtrack, we aren't sure. Probably one for the mute key.
