An enterprising Russian modder has decided that PCs aren't personable enough and so has installed a small living room in his PC.

There are a couple of sofas, a small table, a lamp, a gumball machine, plant pot, picture frame, bottle of coke and a copy of the New York Times - all rendered in miniature.

The identity of the modder isn't entirely clear - the pictures were posted on a message board with the (auto-Google-translated) words: "Some merely suggest the order of the wires inside your computer case. Others all repaint and light up. And one enthusiast made a miniature room in the case".

Griffin Technology has announced a new range of fashion cases for the iPhone 3G, the "Elan Form Etch range".

Every Etch case features a leather exterior bonded to a "near-indestructible" polycarbonate inner shell.

Designs include the checkerboard pattern of "Chess", the retro cassette design of "Rewind", as well as "Stars", tree-themed "Solstice", and the "405" apparently inspired by LA's Interstate 405.

With Griffin's EasyDock design, that allows the device to be docked whilst in the case, the new Etch case collection goes on sale in October 2009, priced at ?24.99.

Be.ez has announced two new additions to the LE vertigo notebook bag collection in "lime art" and "black/pumpkin".

Available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, the LE vertigo bags position laptops in a vertical orientation, instead of the horizontal of most other bags.

Be.ez says the lime art and black/pumpkin bags are the first in the LE vertigo collection to be PVC-free, made from re-engineered materials and packaged in recycled paper packaging.
