Well made and possessing just about the best colour LCD screen I’ve seen for this type of device.

The bad

Basic menu system, Clunky albums and slow to copy data even from SD or CF cards

Verdict

Stunning update of its P-1000 predecessor, the P-2000 offers improved compatibility, improved battery life and a beautiful screen. (Almost) worth every penny.
